Press Release Southtech Celebrates Achievement of CMMI Level-3 Appraisal Dhaka, 24th December: Southtech Limited celebrated its achievement of the CMMI Level-3 appraisal with much grandeur last night. The party took place at a local restaurant in Gulshan. Southtechers joined this great event with their spouses in a very festive mood. The program included congratulatory and welcome speeches from the Chairman, MD & CEO, and Program Manager of Southtech Limited followed by a scrumptious buffet dinner. The contribution of each individual member of the Enterprise Process Group (EPG), Appraisal Team Members (ATM), along with Project Managers, Functional Heads, team members & everyone involved was recognized by the top management. Mr. Syed Maqbul Quader, the chairman of Southtech Limited, delivered an inspiring and motivating speech that clearly showed the ‘future’ for Southtech Limited. He said, “Five years down the road, Southtech Limited will become a truly global ICT company, all we need right now is to be focused towards our target”. Mr. Syed Mamnun Quader, the MD & CEO of Southtech Limited, put this great achievement into simple perspective by crediting and dedicating it to the entire Southtech family. “Although initially the CMMI L-3 implementation was undertaken by the top management, it would never have been possible if the entire Southtech team did not take up the responsibilities on their shoulders”, said Mr. B.M. Shahrier, the Program Manager & Head of Enterprise Process Group (EPG) of Southtech Limited. Overall, this was a great gesture of teamwork and recognition on behalf of Southtech Limited and the Southtechers. Fellow Southtechers believe that this would be only the first such celebration among the many to come in the near future.
