Progressive Stockbroker® Upgraded to interface with CDBL
Southtech Progressive Stockbroker®, a high-end stockbroking
back-end software application, has been upgraded with many new features
including an automatic interface with CDBL, the country's central depository
for paperless securities trading. It now seamlessly interfaces not only
with the main trading system of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (TESSA supplied
by Tandem, USA) but also interfaces with the main trading system of the
Chittagong Stock Exchange (Vector supplied by CMC, India).
Built on Microsoft Technology, Southtech Progressive Stockbroker®
has been running successfully in major brokerage houses and security departments
of banks since 1997.
After the new release, the following members adopted the
new software immediately:

Many other securities houses of both the DSE and the CSE are evaluating the application at present and a large number are expected to switchover to the new application from Southtech.
