Southtech Limited Continues Registration to ISO 9001:2000 for Third Year
Dhaka, Bangladesh - October 23, 2005. Southtech Limited, one of the country's largest software houses in Bangladesh has received recommendation to continue its certification of ISO 9001 : 2000 from United Registrar of Systems (URS) Ltd. accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS). This is the third year in a row that Southtech Limited has been ISO-certified for software design, development, maintenance and sales.
After the audit, ISO Quality Management Representative, Mr. B.M. Shahrier Majumder said, "We have reached a level where things are running very smoothly; there was
no non-compliance detected. As part of our QMS (Quality Management System), we however now plan to enhance our procedures to comply fully with at least CMMI Level 4 within the next one year".
